Description
The Old and The Young Sago Palm by Nina Prommer - Can you tell which one is which? Even palm trees age and show it! These palm trees take a long time to grow tall, that is what makes them a bit more expensive, but they are beautiful.
Cycas revoluta is a species of gymnosperm in the family Cycadaceae and they are native to southern Japan. It is one of several species used for the production of sago, as well as an ornamental plant. The sago cycad can be distinguished by a thick coat of fibers on its trunk.
