Mayahuel Altar by Nina Prommer - The theme for the 2022 Noche De Los Muertos is Mayahuel, the Maguey Goddess, the Aztec Goddess of Fertility, the Maguey (Agave),
and the ruler of the 8th day and the 8th year.
She brings us love, magic, and transformation.She has dominion over Earth, the Night Sky, hallucinations, and intoxications: the Centzon Totochtin, 400 Drunken Rabbit Gods, are her children.
Quite dramatic you could say, but when you see the dances performed, the vibrant decorations and experience the atmosphere at the Hollywood Forever cemetery it is an amazing experience.
